Every year PACE holds a Client Graduation Ceremony, and last Friday, December 15th we held one for our 2017 candidates. These clients have not only overcome the barriers of re-entry–they have thrived. Not just any client can make it to our graduation ceremony–besides completing the core PACE requirements (Advancing Your Career Workshop, Resume Workshop, Career Networking Workshop, Financial Literacy Classes etc.) these individuals have held down steady jobs and haven’t been violated either. These clients are why we do what we do–they show us that this population can achieve anything. Each and every one of these clients is an inspiration to us–they have been able to overcome so much and thrive.
There was also a surprise graduate–our very own Recovery Coach Lester Hollon! He proved that he met and exceeded the qualifications for a PACE graduate and as such we honored him as well.
To our 2017 graduates, we are so proud of everything you have accomplished and we cannot wait to see what you will do in the future.
